3 June 2012 7:51pm 83,755 notesI think you could apply for work study?
yeah I’m definitely looking into it but idk about my chances of approval since it’s my first year…. most freshmen are denied ):
3 June 2012 4:53pm 0 notes sometimes I wish I should’ve just gone the community college route firstI hate how my parents have to pay out of pocket just so I can attend an actual university. It sucks, especially since I wasn’t awarded ANY financial aid. Nothing but loans that I knew damn well I didn’t want to take. There are other options of course: staying home and not dorming, work study program (that I probably wouldn’t get since I’m a freshman), actually getting a damn job, or really…..just not going at all. I mean I can wait, it’s not a priority for me to go to an actual university, it’s just my parents are so proud to call me a Husky, and they want me to get the education that they never had. I feel like I would be failing them if I were to just drop UW Tacoma and head to Bellevue first…. I don’t know. I have thought about just going to community college next year to save money for when I actually transfer to UW Seattle as a Junior, but it would be like everything that I paid for at UW Tacoma would just go to waste. It’s all pre-requisite classes, so it shouldn’t make a difference…right? Just the enviornment would be different.
Hmmm. Mini-adult life is coming on to me with the quickness… I don’t like it.
